Long Beach, CA -- Charles Parkin announced today that Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey has endorsed his campaign for Long Beach City Attorney. Lacey was elected as Los Angeles County’s top prosecutor in 2012.
“I am impressed with Charlie’s nineteen years of service in the Long Beach City Attorney’s office. He certainly will continue serving Long Beach residents with the professionalism, integrity, and transparency they demand from their City attorney,” Lacey said. “I look forward to partnering with Charlie to increase the quality of life for Long Beach and all Los Angeles County residents.”

Parkin joined the City Attorney’s ofﬁce in 1995, as a Deputy Attorney in Litigation after serving in the Long Beach Department of Oil Properties. Since joining the City Attorney’s ofﬁce, Parkin has held the positions of Deputy City Attorney, Principal Deputy and Assistant City Attorney. The Long Beach City Council appointed Parkin full-time City Attorney in 2013.
